Tina Arena
The title of the post pretty much speaks for itself. I haven’t been inspired to write anything lately. Perhaps it’s because I’m too consumed with pressing personal matters to really give a damn about anything else. However, music has always been a constant in my life no matter the circumstance, worry, or pain.
Since I am without inspiration and motivation to write, I give to you some of my favorite songs by some of my favorite musicians. I will try to feature a new song/musician each day(although I wouldn’t exactly bank on that!)
To begin this music lovefest I have chosen the much beloved, international singer-songwriter, Tina Arena. If any of you aren’t not familiar with her, I kindly suggest that you get familiar with her! She sees none of this for her pain withstands,
The empress yearns to not walk among man.
Desiring another life free of earth’s spite,
The empress prepares herself to take flight,
Waving goodbye to the tears that she has cried,
The beguiling fortress is now empty inside.
New life has given way for the true empress to come out and play,
The tears of the empress have gone away,
Frolicking through celestial meadows of abundance delight,
Mortality gave her a new guiding light.
Unfettered to the wind, the soul of the empress is now beautiful from within,
No longer attached to the body that kept her true self in, she’s free to smile again and again,
Ethereal being is what the empress has become,
Living happily now amongst the risen son.

Tina Arena an incandescent, adroit singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia has impressed millions around the world and industry insiders alike with her luscious vocals and commanding stage presence. Through the beautiful universal language of music, Tina Arena has brought tremendous joy into the lives of her admirers around the globe. She is truly a bona fide artist and icon. Tina Arena not only makes me proud to be a woman, but she makes me proud to be apart of the human race.
